Terms of service

1. Purpose of the service

Wallprint adds a made-to-measure product configurator to the merchant's Shopify store: width and height input, choice of material, pattern cropping, server-side price calculation, add-to-cart at the exact price through a temporary variant, and generation of a production file (JSON and SVG) for every ordered line.

The service is intended for professionals (Shopify merchants). It is not a printing service: the merchant remains solely responsible for manufacturing, delivery and the relationship with their customers.

2. Subscription and billing

Three plans are offered, billed monthly in US dollars by Shopify (Shopify Billing): Starter (USD 29 / month, up to 50 configurable products), Pro (USD 59 / month, up to 500 products) and Plus (USD 99 / month, unlimited products). All plans include every feature.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. When the trial ends without a plan being chosen, the configurator is disabled on the online store until a plan is subscribed; the merchant's data is kept.

Billing, applicable taxes and payment methods are handled by Shopify under its own terms. The merchant can change plan at any time in the app; they cancel by uninstalling the app, which ends the subscription at the end of the current period, according to Shopify's rules.

Prices may change; any change is published on the App Store listing and in these terms before it applies to existing subscriptions.

3. Merchant obligations

The merchant warrants that they hold the necessary rights to the patterns, images and texts they offer for customisation, and to the products they sell.

The merchant is responsible for the accuracy of the settings that determine the price (price per m², minimum price, fixed fee, waste, strip width, margins, dimension limits) and of the materials they offer. The price shown to the customer and carried into the cart derives directly from these settings.

The merchant must not delete or manually edit the technical products created by the app (“wallprint-hidden” tag) or their variants: they carry the carts in progress and the orders.

The merchant checks every production file (dimensions, crop, strips, margins) before printing, and ensures compliance with the laws applicable to their business and with Shopify's terms.

4. Liability

The price calculation and the production files are provided “as is”, from the settings entered by the merchant. Wallprint does not warrant that they match the manufacturing constraints of a given printer; final validation rests with the merchant.

Wallprint cannot be held liable for indirect losses (loss of profit, lost orders, damage to reputation) nor for the consequences of an incorrect setting, a manual change to the technical products, a Shopify outage or a theme incompatible with app blocks.

In any case where Wallprint's liability is established, it is limited to the amount of the subscriptions paid by the merchant during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to it.

5. Availability and support

Wallprint uses reasonable means to keep the service available, without a guarantee of absolute continuity: maintenance windows or incidents may occur. Variants and prices already created in the store remain usable during an interruption of the app.

6. Changes to the service and to these terms

Wallprint may evolve the app's features and adapt these terms accordingly. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page; the version in force is the one published at this address. Using the service after a new version is published constitutes acceptance.

Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties seek an amicable solution before any action; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
